Over 3 decades ago, Lynne created Class Act Studios, a one-of-a-kind acting school geared to help children and adults explore their imagination while achieving their goals and dreams in the entertainment industry. Lynne is best known for the success of many child stars she has managed since launching Tannen's Talent in 1984. She has continued to share her knowledge and expertise with those who would like to explore the world of television & film.
Some of Lynne's success stories include Broadway performances on Kinky Boots, Miss Saigon and The Lion King . Her talented TV stars are currently seen on NBC's Blindspot, ABC's Single Parents, Nickelodeon and hundreds of TV commercials. Tannen's clients have worked with notable stars such as Julia Roberts, Victoria Justice, Helen Hunt, Brad Garrett, Charlotte Rae and Jennifer Lopez, to name a few.
Lynne bridged the gap between children who want to audition through her managment company and gave them a place where they can feel comfortable learning and honing in on their craft here at Class Act Studios. Class Act has since expanded to Westchester's #1 acting school for all kids, teens and adults who are looking for a career in acting or for those who simply want to have fun and perhaps try new things.
Lynne is also available by appointment for private acting lessons.
Vin has been performing since he was a child and uses his hands on knowledge of the industry to teach and direct others whose interest lies in the arts. He appeared recently in a hilarious skit on the Rachael Ray show.
You may also recognize Vin's distinct voice on the radio as the N.J. Lottery spokesperson.
Television credits include The Science Channel, WWE RAW and Pillsbury. Working with Julia Roberts in Mona Lisa's Smile was one of the many highlights in his film career.
Vin enjoys using his skills training our beginner students to gain confidence and understand the “ins & outs” of show biz. Combining boundless energy with a dedication to the individual needs of his actors, has proven to be one of the many reasons Vin's students are shining brightly here at Class Act Studios.

Jan was the production manager at The Actors Studio in New York City and has also taught in their West Hollywood office during and after the tenure of Lee Strasberg. Jan has worked closely with many celebrities including Ellen Burstyn, Harvey Keitel, Drew Barrymore & Al Pacino. She was Angelina Jolie's first acting coach which began at the tender age of 12 years old.
With over 30 years of teaching experience, she brings a knowledge of creativity as well as development. She can guide her students toward blending their artistic expression with the technical requirement of their particular genre of work.
Jan has a passion for teaching the art of Shakespeare. It is brilliant as she so effortlessly is able to teach our students the technique and guide them as they learn how to break down each character. However, the real thrill comes when they actually enjoy reciting "Puck".
Jan's daughter, Julie Pacino is a producer and writer who recently cast Julia Stiles in Phoenix - We laughed lots while watching this funny, off-beat romantic comedy at the Cherry Lane Theater in N.Y.C.
Al Pacino (Julie's dad ) calls Phoenix "Beautiful with very clear direction". It is apparent that talent runs in this family.
